Dizzy DROS has been one of Morocco’s leading rappers for over a decade, known for popularizing West-Coast sound in Moroccan rap as well as pushing boundries of music videos and recently of song writng techniques. He first broke out with the 2011 music video “Cazafonia”, his debut song, earning radio plays and his first fan base.

His 2013 debut album 3azzy 3ando Stylo is now hailed as a Moroccan hip-hop classic and often included in lists of ‘Best Rap Albums in Arabic’. Over the past decade, Dizzy’s hard-hitting tracks, especially the 2019 diss track “Moutanabbi” (aimed at veteran rapper Don Bigg) and the viral 2023 music video “M3a L3echrane”, have sparked national debates and millions of views. Critics praise his diverse flows, vocal range and creative wordplay, noting that he “raised the bar of lyricism” in the region.

In May 2025, he dropped the EP Tall Poppy Syndrome (earning song-of-the-year honors for “Yasuke”), followed by his second album AFLAM in April 2026, the latter reportadly marking the first Warner Music deal for a Moroccan rapper. Beyond music, Dizzy has voiced a video-game character, judged a national rap TV contest, landed a Puma endorsement, and publicly supported Moroccan youth protests (even co-signing an open letter to King Mohammed VI).
